“Expectation leads to disappointment”

What this is saying is that you can expect to be disappointed by your expectations. Or to make it even shorter, expect disappointment. I believe that this is where we are as a society. We have adopted this saying as a cultural truth. We gaze out of our collective eyes and what do we see, disappointment all around us.

Like good creators we have aligned ourselves with disappointment and we continue to “beat the drum” of it’s existence. You expect it and so it is! If you expect disappointment then you will be disappointed.

Don’t you believe it! Not for one moment longer. Aligning with a different vibration of expectation turns it into a magical practice or a point of focus. Expectation is at the heart of the Law of Attraction.

Expectation is a very powerful Art. The Art of Expectation accepts as law that what we have come to think or to believe would happen under certain circumstances or conditions is exactly what will happen. Without fail.

The power behind expectation is the certainty that it carries. Free from doubt or reservation. Destined. Inevitable. Established as true or sure.

This is so where we want to be as we manifest our wants, desires and a magnificent life of Well-Being. This is where it’s at, my Friends. If you expect it it will come about. You can expect that. If you are expecting to fail then so shall it be just as if you are expecting to see Love then Love you shall see.

I have spent the past year or so delving into this understanding of the power of Expectation. Aspects of my life that have been blindly handed over to Expectation are finally starting to reveal themselves.

For most of my life I have been expressing symptoms that are constantly being diagnosed as a person that is afraid of failure. That has just never felt right to me. I am not “afraid” to fail. I welcome it actually. Well, actually even more to the point, I expect failure. If I but myself in certain situations or act out in a particular manner or if I attempt to manifest a specific desire; failure is inevitable. So I simply stopped doing those things.

The realization now is that there are things in my life that I want that I do not pursue due to my expectation to fail at them. This is just one of many expectations that get in the way of attracting that magnificent life. Expectation has the potential to stand as guards or resistance along the path of manifestation.

However, just as powerfully as Expectation can stand in resistance it can plow through the densest of barriers to bring into light your power of manifestation. Every time that you effectively use the Law of Attraction in manifesting what you want you come to believe and accept that when you use the Law of Attraction that indeed your want will be manifested into reality. Before long, you expect it with the same certainty that you have in the force of gravity or that the Sun shall rise tomorrow.

Effective use of the Law of Attraction for the purpose of Deliberate Creation requires some practice. Some more so than others. Like most things, the more you implement the Laws of Attraction in your everyday reality the more effective it is for you. Start off small and don’t push beyond what you can believe or expect.

Mastering the Manifestation Process

Inspired Action is the result of what happens when Creative Source Energy, Spirit, is in alignment with our thoughts, feelings and actions. It is through our actions that we actualize our thoughts and feelings into reality. The manifesting process is always active. Our thoughts, feelings and actions are manifesting reality in every moment of our daily lives. When Spirit is the guiding force of these creative powers our daily lives become an experience of Inspired Action.

The Law of Attraction teaches us that part of the manifestation process is that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Simply put, your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest into the physical reality of your daily life. So, we called upon the creative powers of the mind, our thoughts and feelings, to focus attention on the highest vision it could possibly conceive. Thereby we attract into our lives the vibrational energy needed to manifest that highest vision.

However, thought alone does not actualize into reality although it does effectively participate in the manifestation process. Along with the creative powers of our mind we must also call upon the creative powers of our physical body, our labors and efforts. It is through labor and effort that we manifest in this reality as our thoughts and feelings align us with Source Energy.

We are in action all the time. Our labors and efforts are manifesting our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and feelings to reality whether we are aware of it or not. As the LOA encourages us to align our minds with the desire for a higher vision for our lives so to must we align our action with that same desire. When this alignment happens we are now living our lives through Inspired Action.

Often we find ourselves doubting our actions as they have proven to be untrustworthy in the past. Inspired Action is cultivated through the art of allowing. One must learn to allow their actions to be guided by the inspirations of Source Energy, or Spirit. This can be a tricky process.

The physical body is generally pre-occupied with using its creative powers to manifest survival. Might I say here that it is very good at it. It can also be very challenging to get its attention or to get it to lift its head up. The physical body knows what it needs in order to survive and it has the creative power to manifest it.

If that is not challenging enough for you, your mind is processing through a myriad of thoughts and feelings in every moment.  Metaphysical manifesting brings our thoughts and feelings together and channels them as the Source Energy that fuels the manifestation process. Cultivating the power of the mind focuses our thoughts and opens us up to the Divine communication between Ego and Spirit.

So, how does one know if the action they are about to take has been inspired by Spirit and will result in the desired manifestation?  Sometimes what we thought was a gentle “nudge” from Spirit turned out to be a hard shove down a flight of stairs. Knowing, or trusting, that you are taking inspired action comes with practice over time. It requires being aware of the Source Energy behind the actions that worked and the ones that failed to produce the desired result.

As we align ourselves with Spirit, through trial and error the Universe guides us, although at times not so gently, down the path necessary to manifest of our deepest desires and highest vision. At first, as we set out to master the manifestation process, like infants we stumble and fall. Here, patience and perseverance are our allies; never letting go of the vision until ultimate manifestation. Each failure inspiring a deeper alignment with Spirit.

Allowing one’s actions to be inspired by Spirit or Divine inspiration is a result of a deep cultivation of the Ego-Spirit relationship and a blending of the Physical and Metaphysical manifesting processes. This is where it all comes together; now our conscious thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and feelings are manifesting themselves into reality through our actions. These Inspired Actions are happening as the result of a clear and steady communication with Spirit as it freely manifests through us ~ “Spirit In Action”.

As Inspired Action brings a harmony to the manifestation process a conscious partnership develops between the creative power of our minds and the creative power of our bodies. After a period of time the two begin to work as one and there is no longer any separation between the Spiritual world and the Physical world. Your life has now become an expression of spirit in action as your highest vision manifests itself right before your very eyes.

It is through Inspired Action that we actualize the union of opposites, the Divine marriage of masculine and feminine, the Yin and the Yang, the Above and the Below and Spirit becoming flesh. Spirit has integrated itself into our physical lives.

On January 20^th we Americans will be celebrating the inauguration of our 44^th President. Times they are a changin’!

President Barack Obama represents for us all a big change in our American society and way of life. President Obama’s greatest contribution to Americans so far has been a greater sense of hope. It has been some time since we have lived with that tiny little morsel that keeps us getting up in the morning. Since the election in November we as a nation have started to become the change we want to see; all this simply by adding some hope back into our lives.

However my friends and fellow Americans, like Gandhi, Obama is just simply one man. He alone, by himself, cannot be or implement the change we all want to see in this country or in the world at large. Nor is it fair for us to expect that of him, or any man no matter how great.

It is truly time for every one of us take on the responsibility that dwells in Gandhi’s brilliant quote and to be the change, within ourselves and throughout our daily lives, that we want to see. Most importantly we must decide for ourselves what that change is. Is it peace, a world without war, where we no longer send our children off to die on distant lands? Is it a world without hunger, where economics is no longer the deciding factor whether or not someone gets to eat a healthy meal? Is it a world where all have a safe and warm place to live, a world where all are freely and well educated, where all spend there daily activities serving each other in ways that bring joy and bliss to the hearts? Is it a world where all have the right to equal medical care?

What is the change we want to see? At this time in our history this is the greatest question we can ask ourselves and bring out into open debate with each other. And then the hard part follows not far behind, and that is being the change.

Be the change! Bring it fully into your hearts and minds; express it through every pore of your body. Let no one detour you from your expression and be an example to us all of the beauty that exists when just one of us is being that change we all want to see. Concern yourself not whether your neighbor is acting the way you want him to, for this is a personal path for you and you alone. YOU must BE that change for the rest of us to see and soon the whole world will be inspired by you and your way and they will want to join with you and ask you to teach them.

So now we move ourselves up the evolutionary latter. We evolve Gandhi’s command from “Be the change you want to see in the world” to a statement of reality, “Being the change“. I look forward to seeing you out there on the edge of a whole new world.
